Vino BLanco is a new product from Les Astronautes in Argentina. It is a blend of primarily white Criolla grapes from the Uco Valley plus Moscatel, Torrontés and Pedro Ximénez.

Why egg-shaped?

Vinification in concrete eggs allows for a coordinated oxygenation through the egg's fine pores, which results in a near-ideal maturation of the wine. The egg shape also has a very special meaning, it harmonizes with the golden ratio, and it allows natural circulation in the wine. Without nooks and crannies, the wine can flow undisturbed during fermentation and aging.
