The Penicillin is a neo-classic whisky balanced sour with a hint of peat, citrus and flowery nectar. Invented by Sam Ross and first served at the wonderful NYC bar Milk & Honey back in the early years of this century. The idea is to make a balanced flavor spectrum between lemon, ginger, flowers and peated whiskey. In this version, unrested Stauning whisky adds a crisp punch and with our house made ginger vermouth, this cocktail proves a punchy, peppery yet refreshing sour.
