This Morgon has a rich and complex aromatic profile, complemented by a robust structure and a soft, velvety mouthfeel.

Morgon "Les Charmes" 2023 is produced in the Morgon appellation in the Beaujolais region, known for its light, dry red wines. The vineyards are farmed with horses and are certified organic and biodynamic, ensuring a natural and sustainable approach to winemaking. The wine is aged in oak barrels for one year. No artificial ingredients. Light and fruity.

On around 4 hectares, Olivier Renard cultivates the vines in Morgon and Beaujolais-Villages (in Lantignié and Saint Joseph) with horses in the oldest vines, and they are cared for without synthetic products, organically and biodynamically (certified organic and Demeter). Les Charmes has been organic for over twenty years and all the vines have been cultivated biodynamically since its establishment in 2017. The vinifications take place as close to nature as possible: maceration in cement tanks and then aging for a few months in oak or amphora barrels.

Olivier Renard uses natural sulfite in a very low dose to ensure bottling, that's all!
