Carbonic maceration of Mauzac gives a deep golden color. The aroma is beautiful with candied lemon, citrus flowers, star jasmine, spices, grilled accessories. Orange, tannin and a long finish.

The Mauzac grape variety originates from the Tarn Valley in southwestern France, between Toulouse and Albi. It is named after a village located near Toulouse. Mauzac's dominant aromas, green apple and sometimes pear, can be clearly identified when tasting the wines. Other notes often seen in sweet wines made with Mauzac are honey and sweet spices.

Domaine Bernatas produces wines that express the richness and variety of the Limoux terroir.
